Hello, this is my first post. I’ve been brewing beer since 1992, but more importantly I’ve been making mead since 2003. My better half and I are starting a meadery and I was hoping to both seek input and provide information about the endeavor.
I was reading through the Scotts Lab fermentation handbook and found an interesting tidbit that the turbidity of a must was an important component in determining the aromatic potential of the final product with a turbidity of ~80 NTUs being the best.
