    If the new tax bill passes the CO2 law will change from .324 to .64 grams per 100 milliliters. I’m starting with Session meads and wanted to know if there’s a good way to measure the amount of CO2 in my mead. How does the government check it? With pressure, temperature, etc. changing I’d think it’s hard to do. Can anyone help?

  • Does anyone know if nitrogen is used instead of CO2 does the Sparkling tax still apply? The TTB says more than .392 grams of carbon dioxide per 1 milliliter of wine, nothing about nitrogen.
