Five Hives Meadery is more than just a meadery—it’s a movement that blends craft beverage with environmental sustainability and community connection.
At Five Hives, we are pioneering a “play meadery”—a family-friendly space where adults can enjoy premium mead while kids explore, play, and engage in nature-inspired activities. Our woonerf, or living yard, is designed as a vibrant gathering place where families and friends can come together to relax, socialize, and connect with both nature and each other.
A Place to Sip, Play & Stay a While
We believe that community spaces should welcome everyone, which is why Five Hives Meadery is designed for all ages. Parents can savor a glass of handcrafted mead while kids engage in creative play, outdoor exploration, and hands-on learning. Whether it’s climbing, building, crafting, or just running free in our nature-inspired play area, we are creating a space where play and relaxation go hand in hand.

Beyond great mead and great play, we are deeply committed to environmental conservation. Seeking to be a leader in conservation-driven agritourism, we integrate sustainable practices into everything we do, from our beekeeping and ingredient sourcing to our support of the Kennedy Pond Conservancy.
