Like most, he started with beer, but quickly began experimenting with wine making, then mead”In 2016 Blair decided to start a Meadery in his hometown of Dahlonega, Georgia. Dahlonega is a small tourist town in North Georgia known for its historic Gold Rush days and as the Heart of Georgia Wine Country as well as the Wine Tasting Room Capital of Georgia called Etowah Meadery and now just called Etowah.Blair and Etowah’s staff have been producing multi-international award-winning meads, beers, and wine, with over 60 awards and medals to date.
