Annie Zipser has been making mead for over 10 years. She makes small batch (1-3 gallon) sweet, dessert style meads and has been on the Home Governing Committee of AMMA for 6 of those years. During that time she has participated in Mead Con, Mead Matters and represented AMMA at the AHA Homebrew Con. The people that she meets at events like these are the best part! Sharing ideas and techniques with fellow meadmakers really helps keep creativity flowing. Annie likes to tell newbies that there is no single “right” way to make mead. From the moment you start the process until the moment it enters your mouth, mead is yours to play with.
